No matter what we're doing, the safety of our Scouts is always the number one priority. In order to achieve this mission, Pack 712 ensures that our leaders have the training and resources to carry out this responsibility. Luckily, there are a large variety of trainings available to adult leaders. Online courses are typically free, while most live trainings, such as University of Scouting, BALOO, and OWL training have a fee. As a sign of our commitment to developing leaders, Pack 712 reimburses all training fees. Please submit a receipt for training fees to the pack treasurer for reimbursement.

Breakout sessions separate leaders into Cubmasters, Committee Members, Den Leaders, etc., giving you a chance to discuss what's going on in your den or unit. Roundtable is a great place to meet other Scouters and bounce ideas off each other. Roundtable meets the 2nd Thursday of the month. The full schedule is on our Ottawa District Roundtable Page. |
